Rules
- NSCA rules and all range rules apply.
- Tournament officials reserve the right to alter the program without advanced notice.
- All shooters will be required to wear ear and eye protection at all times. To keep our course safe, we require all shooters to pick up their hulls.
- All ties for place winners will be decided by a shoot-off immediately following each event.
- Resident awards in the Budweiser State Sporting Clays Main Event: State Champion, 1st Runner Up, and 1st & 2nd in each NSCA Class & Concurrent. Hunter Class awards for Main Event will be determined by Lewis Classification without regard to residency. Class places are determined by the number of participants.
- Non-resident awards for the Budweiser Sporting Clays Event: Champion and 1st in each NSCA Class.
- Awards in the Sub-Gauge Events: Lewis Class option participants are divided based on number of entrants.
- Resident awards in the State 5-Stand Championship: State Champion, 1st Runner Up, and 1st & 2nd in each NSCA Class & Concurrent. Hunter Class awards for Main Event will be determined by Lewis Classification without regard to residency. Class places are determined by the number of participants.
- Non-resident awards for the State 5-Stand Championship: Champion and 1st in each NSCA Class.
- High Overall awarded for combined scores in: First round shot on the Sub Gauge, 5-Stand, and Main Event (250 Targets).
- Shooters wanting to shoot all three Sub Gauge Events must shoot the 20g Event, the 28g Event and the 410 Event, in that order.
- To provide a challenging and fun-filled weekend of sporting clays, help us prepare by registering in advance and being on time. Your fellow shooters will appreciate this too. Shooters wanting to squad together should apply together.
- All event fees include NSCA, State Association and trophy fees.
- All new shooters must fill out a Liability Form online.
- All shooters are encouraged to register for our email newsletter to receive updates regarding the State Tournament.
All NSCA rules and CCSC rules apply. If you haven't signed the liability form for 2024, save time and sign it online.
Capital City Sporting Clays management reserves the right to alter or cancel any part of the program if the conditions warrant. All decisions of management are final.
