Range Rules

  1. Capital City Sporting Clays management reserves the right to alter or cancel any part of the program if the conditions warrant.
  2. All decisions of management are final.
  3. Treat all firearms as though they are loaded at all times.
  4. Never point a firearm at anything you are not willing to destroy.
  5. All firearms are to remain unloaded unless the shooter is on the firing line or in a shooting cage.
  6. When not in a shooting station, your gun must be empty and the action left open.
  7. Only one shooter in a cage on a station at a time.
  8. All loading and unloading of firearms will take place on the firing line or in a cage.
  9. Maximum two shells in the gun at one time.
  10. Shooters on the firing line shall not break 180 degrees with the muzzle of their firearm. (Under no circumstances will the muzzle point up-range).
  11. Shooters must follow the commands of the range staff at all times.
  12. Consumption of alcohol or intoxicants immediately before or during range use is strictly forbidden.
  13. Eye and Ear protection are mandatory for all persons in the range when shooting is underway.
  14. A Parent or Guardian must accompany shooters 17 and under at all times.
  15. Shooters are responsible for cleaning up their own hulls.
  16. Please no littering.

Additional Sporting Clays Rules

  1. Each shooter will be given a total of 56 birds on a 50 bird course to account for broken birds, show birds, or gun/shooter malfunctions.
  2. Each shooter will be charged $.45 cents for every bird over 56 that is pulled and recorded on the counter.
  3. Each shooter should contact the range manager immediately if a machine is broken or throwing un-shootable birds.

Additional Skeet Rules

  1. Each shooter will be given a total of 27 birds on a 25 bird course to account for broken birds, show birds, or gun/shooter malfunctions.
  2. Each shooter will be charged $.40 cents for every bird over 27 that is pulled and recorded on the counter.
  3. Each shooter should contact the range manager immediately if a machine is broken or throwing un-shootable birds.

Release of Liability

RELEASE FROM RESPONSIBILITY, WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK FOR PARTICIPATION IN A DANGEROUS ACTIVITY

FOR AND IN CONSIDERATION of permitting THE UNDERSIGNED to participate in shooting activities on the CAPITAL CITY SPORTING CLAYS, L.L.C., premises, for the purposes of firearms use, shooting firearms, observing the shooting of firearms, or any and all other purposes, THE UNDERSIGNED, for herself, himself, her/his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns:

  1. Hereby voluntarily releases discharges, waives and relinquishes any and all actions for the personal injury, property damage or wrongful death occurring to the UNDERSIGNED arising as a result of engaging in or being present at the activities at the CAPITAL CITY SPORTING CLAYS, L.L.C., premises.
  2. Acknowledges that the UNDERSIGNED has been fully and completely advised of the potential for serious accident incidental to engaging in firearm activities, and expressly agrees to assume all risks of loss, injury and property damage, and expressly agrees to assume all risks of loss, damage or injury that may be sustained by the UNDERSIGNED.

THE UNDERSIGNED HAS READ THE FOREGOING PARAGRAPHS AND VOLUNTARILY SIGNS THIS AGREEMENT BEING FULLY AWARE OF THE LEGAL CONSEQUENCES OF THE SIGNED INSTRUMENT WITHIN.
