SUMMARY:5-Stand League
DESCRIPTION:Registration\nEach team captain must fill out a single registration form and turn that in\, with full payment\, prior to the league start date. \nTeam Sponsor Fee – $100.00\nLeague Fee (per shooter) – $156.00 \nDescription\nFour to six person teams\, keeping the four highest scores out of six after adding handicaps. During the six-week period\, you must shoot 12 scores\, (two scores per week). Each score consists of 25 targets. \nLeague weeks run from Monday through the following Sunday. \nRules\nThe purpose of the League is to provide fair and competitive 5-Stand shooting to all shooters of all abilities\, novice to veteran. There are no gender or age limitations and no membership requirements. \n\nTeams must be registered by the end of the first week.\nNew league members must establish a handicap by shooting two rounds prior to starting.\nTeams choose a cage time to shoot each week. Cage times are 45 minutes.\nCage Times – Mon-Fri: 4:15 • 5:00 • 5:45 • 6:30 • 7:15 • 8:00. Sundays 12-6\nEach team is responsible for cleaning up their hulls when finished shooting.\nWe no longer punch practice cards at the 5-Stand\, so please stop at the clubhouse to pick up a practice ticket. You must present the ticket to the trapper BEFORE shooting.\nEye and ear protection are mandatory.\nGuns must be unloaded when moving from cage to cage.\nYou may shoot twice at singles.\nShooters are responsible for entering their own scores\, in the club house.\nYou may shoot ahead but cannot make up scores. Any missed scores may be shot\, but it will not be counted. For any missed scores the shooter will receive a “0”.\nPlease respect your team and other shooters by being on time. If your team is not here at their scheduled time and the next group is ready\, they will be allowed to start.\n\nHandicapping System\nThis handicap system attempts to level the field between expert and novice shooters. Because the handicap is recalculated after each week\, the number of handicap points assigned to a shooter will be different each week. The handicap is calculated by adding your last two scores\, divide the sum by two\, then subtract from par. \nTrophies\nThe teams are awarded points: Wins (2 points)\, Ties (1 point) and Losses (0 points). Points are totaled at the end of the 6 weeks (12 Scores). 1st place team will receive a trophy and a CCSC certificate worth $250. Ties are determined by shoot offs. Team members purchase and shoot a 13th round. Their handicap for the tie breaker round is based on their current year-end 12 league score average. We then use the four highest scores after average\, if still tied we add a fifth shooter score\, if still tied the sixth shooter score\, if still tied we start the process over with another shoot off round. 1 week to post a shoot off score.

SUMMARY:Buck-a-Bird Charity Shoot
DESCRIPTION:Description \nRegister for Gaia Home’s second annual Buck-a-Bird\, which is a fun\, unique\, clay target shoot with regular shooters and VIP Shooters! “What are VIP Shooters?” you ask. They are Shooters who receive extra perks at the event (such as an extra chance to win a Winchester SX4 Upland Field 12GA Semi-Auto Shotgun donated by Scheels\, entrance into the VIP prizes drawing which includes a Ruger Precision Rimfire 22 WMR Rifle\, special shooting attire\, and more) because they get at least 5 people or businesses to sponsor them by donating $1 or more per bird they hit.  \n“What’s Gaia Home?” you ask. It’s an organization working to fill the gap in end-of-life care. Today\, there is no place in North Dakota that specializes in compassionate end-of-life care in a home-like setting. While in-home hospice care is often the preferred option\, it isn’t always feasible for every family. A community of private units and shared gathering spaces\, Gaia Home will provide a much-needed alternative by welcoming Gaia Home Guests and the people they want to have with them during the final season. Healthcare professionals will be at Gaia Home 24 hours a day\, seven days a week\, to relieve families of the difficult care taking tasks. With support from professional caregivers in a home away from home\, Gaia Home Guests and their families will have privacy and peace to focus on making lasting memories and truly treasure their precious time together during one of life’s most vulnerable experiences. \nLearn more about Gaia Home and register for its Buck-a-Bird event by clicking here: https://thegaiahome.org/buck-a-bird/
